Commissioned by The Juilliard School in 2015 to celebrate the 70th Birthday of Juilliard’s Chairman of the Board, Bruce Kovner. Premiere Performance was in February 2015 with Soprano Liv Redpath, Counter-Tenor Eric Jurenas, and Juilliard415 conducted by first violin Robert Mealy.
