Winner of the National Orchestra Association New Music Orchestral Project, Southern Landscapes was recorded by the NOA conducted by George Tsontakis.
The work was written while Lasser was composer-in residence at The Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France. A one-movement Symphonic poem, the work traverses the many colors and shapes of the landscape of southern France.
